Mindlapse was formed some time in the mid-2000s as a "supergroup", of members from a number of other active Greek demogroups of the time. The idea was to combine our skills and make only great demos, instead of the rushed partycoded productions some of us were making most of the time.
At the same time we formed a second group called MLFC, which would be used to release anything that wasn't up to par for a Mindlapse release. MLFC stood for "MindLapse Fan Club" and the gimmick was that we'd release stuff there under fake nicknames, posing as arrogant lamers who idolize Mindlapse. It seemed mildly amusing at the time...
Since the "joke" has grown stale some time ago, the MLFC label is officially retired now. This page lists the productions of both Mindlapse, and MLFC, the latter having been predictably more plentiful, since nothing was ever good enough for a Mindlapse release. Hopefully Mindlapse is going to catch up in the future, as we become more active in the demoscene again. We'll keep releasing everything as Mindlapse from now on, and while we intend to do our best to make good demos, we'll no longer shy away from the occasional simpler prod if we feel like it.
